Kathi Fairbend MS RPT

Kathi Fairbend is an author, physical therapy, and ergonomic consultant with a diverse practice spanning patient care, teaching, and corporate consultation nationwide. A graduate of Boston University (MS) and Tufts University (BS), Kathi has taught at Northeastern University, Boston University, and Simmons College, and served as an advisor for Babson College's entrepreneurial program. A Life Member of the American Physical Therapy Association, she was the first American physical therapist to present pre- and post-operative treatment for total hip patients at the Association’s National Conference. Kathi has also been the ergonomic consultant for the Wyss Institute at Harvard University for over 12 years. In her book Stand Up to Depression, she introduces the Fairbend Method, a unique approach to posture that enhances mood and produces immediate results.

Rebecca Millock BA

Rebecca Millock is a consultant with JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving people’s lives through greater health, education, and socioeconomic equality for individuals and communities. Rebecca is a graduate of Harvard University (BA) where she played on the varsity soccer team. After a brief spell as a professional in the women's French Première Ligue, she is now engages with soccer as youth coach, advisor, and mentor. Rebecca is an avid reader, gardener, and fan of all competitive sports.

Become A Body Mind Physical Therapist

This program provides training in recognizing and understanding body mind interactions. This course is designed for licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate signed by Kathi and Rebecca.
